Motor Image SUBARU launched a new campaign for its Forester which starred a new and very unlikely endorser, Homer Simpson. The tie-up between TV’s most famous family and the purveyor of the Boxer engine was first announced at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show by Tan Chong International Executive Director Glenn Tan.

Jason de la Peña and a Homer are invited to a special event but not before stopping for some donuts along the way.
CALL-TO-ACTION
6 months after the announcement FOX held a Simpsons marathon tagging this call-to-action on the end of a Simpsons promo. The purpose was to remind viewers of the long awaited Homer Simpson commercial partnership and to get their hands on a limited edition "Moo-Hoo" cow upon purchase of a Subaru Forester at any local showroom.
* Due to user rights and restrictions the original animated Homer Simpson could not be used in the call-to-action. As an alternative a  hint of a mysterious character in a Simpson-esque world  is seen purchasing a Subaru Forester.
TV COMMERCIAL
Homer Simpson has had enough of the unhealthy food sold at the Kwik-E-Mart, and decides to bring baby Maggie on a trip out of town for some healthier options. With both strapped in, the Subaru Forester brings them across the difficult terrain in comical fashion.
* The Subaru and Homer Simpson partnership all sounds odd and surreal, so it's best to actually see the commercial.
The below commercial was produced by Gracie Films and is used as a reference to give perspective to the scope of the campaign which launched across all of FOX's channels now owned by The Walt Disney Company.
